Article 653 of Civil Code

1 - If a loan for use is restricted by time, place, or a type of use, the borrower may not use the borrowed thing outside the specified time and place or depart from the authorized use to a use that exceeds it in harmfulness. 2 - If the loan for use is not subject to any restriction, the borrower may use the borrowed thing at any time and place and for any use he wishes, provided that he does not exceed customary use of it. 3 - In both cases, the borrower shall not be liable for any alteration, damage, or diminution affecting the borrowed thing by reason of the use authorized by the loan for use.
