English translation
A person whose name is entered on the roll of lawyers must meet the following conditions: First: He must be Kuwaiti. Second: He must have full legal capacity, be of praiseworthy conduct and good reputation, and not have been convicted judicially or disciplinarily for reasons affecting integrity or honour. Third: He must hold a degree in law from Kuwait University or a recognised university, or a degree in Sharia adjudication from a faculty of Islamic Sharia in a State of the Arab League. Kuwaiti lawyers who were entered on the roll pursuant to Legal Profession Law No. 21 of 1960 AD shall be exempt from this condition.

يشترط فيمن يقيد أسمه بجدول المحامين :
أولا : أن يكون كويتيا. ثانيا : أن يكون كامل الاهلية، محمود السيرة، حسن السمعة
غير محكوم عليه قضائيا أو تأديبيا لأسباب ماسة بالذمة أو بالشرف. ثالثا: أن يكون
حاصلا على اجازة الحقوق من جامعة الكويت أو من إحدى الجامعات المعترف
بها أو اجازة القضاء الشرعي من إحدى كليات الشريعة الاسلامية بإحدى دول
الجامعة العربية. ويعفى من هذا الشرط المحامون الكويتيون الذين قيدوا بالجدول
طبقا لقانون المحاماة رقم ٢١ لسنة ١٩٦٠م.Ask about this article
