Article 54 of Child Rights Law

After the employer's approval, a working mother in the private sector—whether employed permanently or under a temporary contract—may be granted the right to maternity leave of two months after childbirth at full pay and four months at half pay after the employer's approval. The daily working hours of a pregnant woman shall be reduced by at least two hours beginning in the sixth month of pregnancy, and she may not be employed for overtime hours throughout pregnancy and until the date of childbirth.
