Guardianship over the person ends upon attainment of puberty under Sharia. - Puberty is attained by the appearance of the known natural signs. Delay in their appearance. Its effect: puberty is established upon completion of the 15th year for males or females. - Removal of guardianship relates only to an existing guardianship and does not apply to a terminated guardianship. The reason for this: that which has lapsed does not return. Example. - 529 - Personal Status
