Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 1169

State of Kuwait · Criminal Procedure · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

The trial court is not obliged to pursue the accused in every particular of his defence. Its satisfaction with the evidence upon which it relied means that it disregarded the considerations advanced by the defence to induce it not to accept that evidence.
Arabic original
