Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 126

State of Kuwait · Criminal Procedure · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

The law does not mandatorily require the police officer personally to undertake the inquiries and searches on which the search warrant is based. In what he conducts, he may seek assistance from his aides among the general police officers and confidential informants, provided he is convinced of the accuracy and truthfulness of what he receives from them. - The inquiries taking a particular length of time. Does not detract from their seriousness.
