Condition for its validity: that the police officer has learned from his inquiries and evidence-gathering that a particular offence has been committed by a particular person, and that there are sufficient indications and signs and reasonable suspicions against that person to an extent justifying interference with the inviolability of his dwelling in order to uncover the extent of his connection with that offence. - The police officer personally undertaking the inquiries and investigations on which the search warrant is based. Not obligatory. He may seek assistance from his aides among public authority officers and confidential informants. - Assessment of the seriousness and sufficiency of inquiries for issuing a search order.
