Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 662

State of Kuwait · Criminal Procedure · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Nothing prevents the trial court from finding in the statements of the officer concerned with the incident what convinces it that the appellant possessed narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for use, without finding therein what convinces it that such possession was for trafficking, provided it bases this on sound considerations, without this constituting a contradiction in its judgment.
