English translation of the principle
Payment of the value of the cheque before the due date does not negate the commission of the offence of giving it without funds, so long as the drawer has not recovered it from the victim. Payment subsequent to the due date likewise does not negate its commission.

الوفاء بقيمة الشيك قبل تاريخ الاستحقاق لا ينفي قيام جريمة إعطائه بدون رصيد. مادام الساحب لم يسترده من المجني عليه. كما أن الوفاء اللاحق لتاريخ الاستحقاق لا ينفي قيامها.Original Arabic judgment citations
