Punishable forgery. Need not be skilfully executed. The criterion in this regard. The possibility that some people may be deceived by it. Example: altering a passport’s expiry date. Some passport officers being deceived by it. Forgery. Eleventh: The offence of forgery is among offences involving dishonour and breach of trust:-
