The effect of the contract. It is confined to its parties. The rights arising from it and the obligations generated by it extend only to its contracting parties and their universal successors. The parties to the contract may not, by their agreement, create an obligation incumbent upon a third party.

أثر العقد. يقتصر على طرفيه. لا تنصرف الحقوق الناشئة عنه والالتزامات المتولدة منه إلا إلى عاقديه وخلفهما العام. ليس لطرفي العقد أن يرتبا باتفاقهما التزاماً في ذمه الغير.Original Arabic judgment citations
