Apparent agency. Its effect. The apparent agent represents the principal in his dealings with third parties. The effects of his transaction with third parties, in terms of rights and obligations, extend to the principal. The reason for this. - Apparent agency. Conditions for its establishment: the agent acts in the principal’s name without representative authority; the person dealing with the agent acts in good faith, irrespective of the agent’s good faith; and there is an outward appearance of agency attributable to the principal that leads the third party to believe it exists.
