State of Kuwait · Civil Matters — Volume 10 · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Interest in an action. It is sufficient for its existence that the claimant merely seeks confirmation of a right or status protected by law which the defendant disputes, so that he benefits from bringing his action for a declaration of that right. Requiring the existence of an established right that has been infringed for the action to be admissible. Not necessary.
