The principle of the relative effect of procedural measures concerning an appeal against a judgment. Its implication. Where there are multiple judgment debtors and only one or some of them appeal the judgment, only the person who filed it within the time limit, to the exclusion of the others, changes the effect of the appeal, and it may be invoked only against the person against whom it was filed within the time limit, to the exclusion of the others. - Actions with an indivisible subject matter or a joint and several obligation, or in which, pursuant to law, particular persons are joined.
