Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 2001

State of Kuwait · Pleadings — Part Two · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

The filiation action that is admissible only within another right is one in which there is a dispute over filiation, whether to establish or deny it. If it is not disputed and the matter is confined to correcting the name recorded in travel documents, the judgment ruling the action inadmissible involves an error in the application of the law.
