Unregistered commercial agency. No action concerning it shall be heard. Law 36 of 1964 concerning the regulation of commercial agencies. - Contract agency. Its nature: a contract whereby a person undertakes, on a continuing basis within a specified area of activity, to solicit and negotiate the conclusion of transactions in the principal's interest, or to conclude them and sign and perform contracts in the principal's name and for the principal's account. The legislature's requiring only written proof thereof and not subjecting it to the registration requirement. Article 274 of the Commercial Code.
