Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 1826

State of Kuwait · Pleadings — Part Three · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Judgments that do not conclude the entire dispute. Challenging them separately. Impermissible. Excepted are: provisional and urgent judgments, judgments staying the action, and judgments amenable to compulsory enforcement. Example. Because the judgment, in one part, did not decide a maintenance claim for a specified period and directed an oath to the appellant without fixing a hearing for taking it. It is not a judgment concluding the entire dispute.
