Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 2825

State of Kuwait · Pleadings — Part Three · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

The scope of a cassation appeal does not extend beyond the judgment challenged. A cassation appeal against the judgment terminating the proceedings does not necessarily entail a challenge to all judgments delivered before it, as is prescribed in respect of an appeal.
