The injured party and the person responsible for the accident appealing the judgment awarding compensation to the injured party, and the court consolidating the two appeals. Consequence. The court may affirm, set aside or vary the appealed judgment in favour of either party. This does not constitute a worsening of either party's position. 8- Lapse of the appeal proceedings:-
