Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 3663

State of Kuwait · Pleadings — Part Three · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

The validity of an arbitral award is not measured by the standards by which judicial judgments are measured. Stating its reasons in general or summary form does not vitiate it, provided that their substance involves no violation of the law. - An arbitral award must include a copy of the arbitration agreement. Setting out the particulars of the agreement in full in the award is sufficient.
