Assigning a chamber of the Court of Appeal to hear appeals in rental cases does not prevent it from hearing other matters. Reason. Exceeding the allocation of work among the court’s chambers does not entail - 143 - Civil Procedure a violation of the rules of jurisdiction. Example of a manifestly invalid defence in this regard for which the judgment is not faulted if it does not answer it.
