State of Kuwait · Commercial and Labour — Volume 9 · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office
English translation of the principle
The customer’s cessation of payment of his debts purchased by the State. Its effect. The Prosecution may request that he be declared bankrupt, even after his death or retirement, within the two years following that event; otherwise, the right to request his bankruptcy lapses. The reason for this: so that the fate of the estate does not remain pending for an unknown period.
