Contract agency is a form of commercial agency. Its nature. It is a contract whereby a person undertakes, on a continuing basis within a specified area of activity, to endeavour to conclude contracts for the benefit of the other contracting party in return for remuneration. He may be authorised by the principal to conclude contracts, or his task may be confined to receiving offers and sending them to the principal so that the latter contracts directly with the customer.
