A sale (C and F) is a sale upon shipment to which the rules of a CIF sale, cif, apply, except for the seller's obligation to insure the goods during the sea voyage for the buyer's benefit; thus the seller bears the risk of damage that may affect the goods during performance of carriage by sea until it passes the ship's rail since transfer of ownership of the goods to the buyer, and the seller has no concern with their fate. The contract containing a term that alters its nature and the essence of its provisions. Its effect. The description (C and F) conferred upon it by the contracting parties does not apply to it, and this description has no meaning other than being merely a method of determining the components of the price. - Formal sale:-
