English translation of the principle
The provisions of Law 47 of 1993 concerning Housing Welfare remain in force and must be applied. They are not affected by the issuance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with its provisions on rights specific to women. - The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: their contents are no more than a mere call upon States, as subjects of public international law, to undertake coordinated action to ensure equality among all people and prevent discrimination against women.

أحكام القانون ٤٧ لسنة ١٩٩٣ في شأن الرعاية السكنية قائمة واجبة الإعمال. لا ينال منها صدور الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان بما تضمنه من حقوق خاصة بالمرأة. - اتفاقية القضاء على كافة أشكال التمييز والإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان ما ورد بهما لا يعدو أن يكون مجرد دعوة إلى الدول بصفتها أشخاص القانون الدولي العام إلى القيام بعمل منسق لضمان المساواة بين الناس جميعاً ومنع التمييز ضد المرأة.Original Arabic judgment citations
