1 - The subject matter of the obligation must be specified in a manner excluding gross uncertainty; otherwise, the contract shall be void. - If the obligation concerns a thing, that thing must be specified individually or by its kind, quantity, and grade of quality, provided that failure to specify the grade of quality does not render the contract void, and the debtor shall then provide a thing of average quality.

١ - يلزم أن يكون محل الالتزام معينـا تعيينـا نـافيا للجهالة الفاحشة, وإلا وقع العقد
باطلا .
- وإذا تعلق الالتزام بشيء, وجب أن يكون هذا الشيء محددا بذاته, أو بنوعه
ومقداره ودرجة جودته، على أن عدم تحديد درجة الجودة لا يؤدي إلى بطلان العقد,
