Article 525 of Civil Code

1 - A gift is not concluded unless accompanied by taking possession of the property given or authenticated in an official instrument. 2 - Possession shall be deemed to have been taken even if the thing remains in the donor's hands, if he is the natural guardian, appointed guardian, curator, or person responsible for the donee's upbringing.
