English translation
1 - If a defect appears in the thing and the borrower chooses to retain it, he shall be obliged to return only the value of the thing in its defective condition. 2 - If the lender deliberately concealed the defect, he shall be liable for the damage caused by it.

١ - إذا ظهر في الشيء عيب واختار المقترض استبقاءه، فلا يلزمه أن يرد إلا قيمـة
الشيء معيبا.
٢ - فإذا كان المقرض قد تعمد إخفاء العيب فإنه يكون مسئولا عما يسببه العيب
