Article 632 of Civil Code

1 - The sharecropper shall bear the expenses of cultivation and preservation of the crop until harvest time, and shall maintain the implements and carry out minor repairs to buildings. 2- The landowner shall bear the expenses of other repairs, and shall also bear the necessary improvements to the land. 3- Both parties, each in proportion to his share of the yield, shall bear the expenses of sowing and and fertilizing, the price of pesticides, and the expenses of harvesting and subsequent operations until division. 4 - All this applies unless agreement or custom provides otherwise.
