Childbirth expenses and the fees of the midwife, hospital, or physician, or medical treatment, and the cost of medicines if she needs them, are considered obligatory maintenance, whether for ordinary or serious illnesses that she sometimes contracts, unless spending on her medical treatment causes the husband hardship and financial strain.

تعتبر نفقة الولادة وأجرة القابلة أو المستشفى أو الطبيب، أو التطبيب، وثمن الأدوية
