English translation
A betrothal unaccompanied by the marriage formula is not binding, and accordingly: 1 - Either party to the betrothal may withdraw from it. 2 - If the betrothed woman marries another, this constitutes withdrawal from the betrothal, and her marriage shall not be annulled.

الخطبة المجردة عن صيغة الزواج غير لازمة وعليه:
١- يجوز لكل من طرفي الخطبة أن يعدل عنها.
