English translation
The mother has the greater right to custody of her child, whether male or female, until the child reaches seven years of age; custody shall then belong to the father until puberty under Sharia.

الأم أحق بحضانة ولدها ذكرا كان أم أنثى حتى بلوغه سبع سنين من العمر، ثــم
