Article 501 of Jaafari Personal Status Law

If a man divorces his wife by a revocable or irrevocable divorce while ill and dies before the expiry of twelve lunar months from the time of divorce, the wife shall inherit from him if three conditions are met: First: The woman has not married another man during the lunar year. Second: The divorce was not at her request, whether for consideration or without it. Third: The husband dies during that illness, whether because of it or for another reason.
