English translation
If the spouses disagree over the amount of the specified dower, the burden of proof shall lie with the wife. If she is unable to prove it, the husband's statement on oath shall prevail, unless he claims an amount that cannot customarily constitute the dower of a woman of her standing, in which case the customary dower shall be awarded, provided that it does not exceed what the wife claimed. This shall apply in the event of a disagreement between either spouse and the heirs of the other, or between her heirs.

إذا اختلف الزوجان في مقدار المهر المسمى ، فالبينة على الزوجة ، فان عجزت كان
القول للزوج بيمينه الا إذا ادعى ما لا يصلح ان يكون مهرالمثلها عرفا، فيحكم
بمهر المثل ، على الا يزيد على ما ادعته الزوجة.
