English translation
The Felony Circuit of the Court of First Instance shall be the court competent to hear all criminal cases stipulated in this Law, and its judgments shall be appealed before the Court of Appeal. By way of exception to the provisions of Article Eight of the aforementioned Law No. 40 of 1972, judgments issued by the Court of Appeal may be challenged by way of cassation.

تكون دائرة الجنايات في المحكمة الكلية هي المحكمة المختصة بنظر جميع الدعاوى
الجزائية المنصوص عليها في هذا القانون وتستأنف أحكامها أمام محكمة الاستئناف،
واستثناء من أحكام المادة الثامنة من القانون رقم ٤٠ لسنة ١٩٧٢ المشار إليه يجوز
