English translation
Interest may not be charged on accrued interest, and in no case may the total interest collected by the creditor exceed the principal, all in the circumstances provided for in this Law and without prejudice to commercial rules and usages and such rules as may be laid down for long-term loans.

لا يجوز تقاضي فوائد على متجمد الفوائد، ولا يجوز في اية حال ان يكون مجموع الفوائد
التي يتقضاها الدائن أكثر من رأس المال وذلك كله في الأحوال المنصوص عليها في
هذا القانون ودون اخلال بالقواعد والعادات التجارية وبما يوضع من قواعد للقروض
