Article 143 of Commercial Code

1 - The seller shall load the goods, at his own expense, on board the vessel at the port of shipment on the date agreed upon in the contract of sale, or within a reasonable time if the parties have not specified a time for shipment. 2 - The seller shall, at his own expense, obtain the licences necessary for exporting the goods from the place of shipment. He shall also bear the packing costs and the expenses of measuring, weighing or counting the goods or verifying their quality whenever these operations are necessary for shipment. He shall also be liable for the taxes and duties payable on the goods by reason of their export or shipment. - He shall notify the buyer without delay of the date of shipment of the goods and the name of the vessel.
