Article 159 of Companies Law

The capital increase shall be covered by shares whose value is paid by one of the following methods: 1- Offering the increase shares for public subscription. 2- Converting funds from the voluntary reserve, retained profits, or amounts exceeding the minimum statutory reserve into shares. 3- Converting a debt owed by the company, bonds, or sukuk into shares. 4- Providing an in-kind contribution. 5- Issuing new shares allocated to admit a new partner or partners proposed by the board of directors and approved by the extraordinary general assembly. 6- Any other methods regulated by the Executive Regulations. In all cases, the nominal value of the increase shares shall be equal to the nominal value of the original shares.
