Article 18 of Domestic Workers Law

Employers may not engage domestic workers to work for them except pursuant to recruitment contracts (bilateral or tripartite, as the case may be) issued by the Domestic Labour Department at the Ministry of Interior, written in Arabic and English, provided that such contracts include the following: The domestic worker's name and full particulars. The employer's name and full particulars. The duration of the contract. The date of commencement of work. The agreed wage and the method of its payment.
