Article 3 of Oil Sector Labour Law

The application of the provisions of this Law shall not prejudice the more advantageous benefits established for oil workers under their current employment contracts or the rules and regulations in force with oil employers. Any condition or agreement that contravenes the provisions of this Law shall be deemed void, even if concluded before its entry into force, unless the condition or agreement provides a greater benefit to the worker. Changing the type of a worker’s work without his consent shall be deemed an infringement of the benefits established for him.
