An electronic document or record shall be deemed to have been sent from the place where the originator's place of business is located and received at the place where the addressee's place of business is located. If either has no place of business, his residence shall be deemed his place of business, unless the originator of the electronic document or record and the addressee have agreed otherwise. If the originator or the addressee has more than one place of business, the place most closely connected with the transaction shall be deemed the place of sending or receipt. Where a preference cannot be determined, the principal place of business of each shall be deemed the place of sending or receipt.

يعتبر المستند أو السجل الإلكتروني قد أرسل من المكان الذي يقع فيه مقر عمل
المنشئ، وأنه استلم في المكان الذي يقع فيه مقر عمل المرسل إليه، وإذا لم يكن لأي
منهما مقر عمل يعتبر محل إقامته مقرا لعمله ما لم يكن منشئ المستند أو السجل
الإلكتروني والمرسل إليه قد اتفقا على خلاف ذلك.
وإذا كان للمنشئ أو المرسل إليه أكثر من مقر عمل فيعتبر المقر الأقرب صلة بالمعاملة
