Article 1 of Law Regulating the Installation and Use of Security Cameras

For the purposes of applying the provisions of this Law, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings indicated opposite each: Ministry: The Ministry of Interior. Minister: The Minister of Interior. Competent entity: The entity designated by the Minister. Security surveillance cameras and devices: Every device designed to capture, transmit and record images for the purpose of monitoring and observing the security situation. Recordings: What is captured, transmitted and recorded by security surveillance cameras and devices. Establishments: Hotels, hotel apartments, commercial complexes, cooperative societies, residential complexes, banks, banking institutions, exchange shops, gold and jewelry shops, sports and cultural clubs, youth centers, shopping and entertainment centers, hospitals and clinics, warehouses and stores for valuable materials and hazardous materials, fuel stations, and other establishments designated by a decision of the Council of Ministers upon the proposal of the Minister.
