English translation
Criminal proceedings stipulated in this Law shall become time-barred according to the duration of the penalty. If it is within three years, they shall become time-barred within two years, and if it exceeds three years, they shall become time-barred within five years from the day the offence occurred. A compensation action shall not be heard if it is not brought within three years from the date of the injured party's knowledge, unless criminal proceedings are pending, in which case the time limit barring the hearing shall begin from the date of their termination or the issuance of a final judgment therein. 480 Law Index Home Page Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes Law No. 63 of 2015 concerning Combating Information Technology Crimes

تسقط الدعوى الجزائية المنصوص عليها في هذا القانون بحسب مدة العقوبة، فإن
كانت بحدود الثلاث سنوات فتسقط خلال سنتين ، وإن كانت تتجاوز الثلاث
سنوات فتسقط خلال خمس سنوات من يوم وقوع الجريمة ، ولا تسمع دعوى
التعويض إذا لم يتم رفعها خلال ثلاث سنوات من تاريخ علم المضرور ، ما لم تكن
الدعوى الجزائية قائمة فيبدأ ميعاد عدم السماع من تاريخ انقضائها أو صدور حكم
