The absence in the Civil Service Law of an obligation upon the administrative authority to compensate the employee for a work injury. The formation of a tripartite committee to examine claims for compensation for work injuries of State employees and assess the compensation due in accordance with the regulations on the blood-money schedule and the schedule determining disability percentages in cases of work injuries and occupational diseases. Does not preclude claiming from the employing authority compensation making good the entire damage arising from injury or death during and because of work, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code, whenever it resulted from a fault for which that authority is liable.
