Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 1517

State of Kuwait · Criminal Procedure · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Doubt as to attributing the charge to the accused suffices as a basis for acquittal. - The validity of a judgment of acquittal is not undermined by one indication of doubt being defective, provided it is founded on other indications of doubt that left the court unconvinced that the accusation was established.
