Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 1690

State of Kuwait · Criminal Procedure · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Signature of the draft judgment containing its reasons and operative part by the judges who heard the pleadings. The appellant's failure to dispute this. Its implication is that the panel that heard the pleadings was the very panel that deliberated on the judgment, decided the appeal and issued the challenged judgment. - The law has not prescribed invalidity for failure to identify the panel that issued the judgment so long as its members signed its draft.
