Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 783

State of Kuwait · Criminal Procedure · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

Proof in criminal matters. What matters is the judge's conviction. Assessment of witnesses. Within his unrestricted discretion. Each piece of evidence need not be conclusive on every detail of the case. It is sufficient that the evidence as a whole leads to what the judgment intended.
