English translation of the principle

Medical reports in themselves do not constitute evidence against the accused. The implication thereof: they are not vitiated if they are not based on certainty. The court's acceptance of probabilistic evidence. Permissible. Its condition: that the conviction be founded on certainty. Example concerning the court's certainty as to a matter on which the forensic medical report was not conclusive in an intentional homicide offence.
