Judicial principle — Kuwait Court of Cassation

Kuwait Court of Cassation principle number 860

State of Kuwait · Penal Law · Ministry of Justice — Court of Cassation — Technical Office

English translation of the principle

The absence of the forged document does not necessarily entail failure to establish the offence of forgery. The court may form its conviction in that regard through all means of proof and may accept a photographic copy of the paper as evidence in the case. - Criminal law has prescribed no particular method for proving forgery offences.
