A forged official document. It need not have been issued by the official competent to draw it up. Fabricating it in the form and appearance of an official document and attributing it to an official competent to draw it up is sufficient to establish the offence of forgery. An example concerning an alteration to a photocopy of a civil identity card. - Punishable forgery. It need not be skilful or require special knowledge to detect. It is sufficient that some people are deceived by it.
